Ieper Hardcore Fest has been providing a platform for underground music and art since 1992, making it the planet's longest-running multi-day hardcore punk festival. This renowned Belgian event takes place each year in Ypres (Ieper), bringing forth a massive array of talented musicians who come together to create an unforgettable experience.
In its many years, Ieper Hardcore Fest has become renowned for hosting metalcore bands and has been credited as a significant influence on the Czech music festival Fluff Fest. Yet throughout the event's history, it remains diverse, drawing on genres like emotional hardcore, post-hardcore punk rock, grindcore, death metal, thrash metal, sludge metal, doom metal, and stoner rock. All this makes Ieper Hardcore Fest one of Europe's most eclectic and vibrant festivals - an unmissable experience unlike any other!
February 2018 saw the introduction of Ieper Hardcore Fest Winter Edition, quickly becoming an annual event until 2015. Unfortunately, the festival's winter event could not take place in 2019. And subsequently, the festival was held sporadically in 2018 and 2022.
On 4th March 2023, Ieper Hardcore Fest Winter Edition proudly returns to ART Vort'n Vis for its 10th edition. This festival will showcase some of the best acts in hardcore punk and metal with performances from HERE KNUCKLEDUST, CAULDRON, REALM OF TORMENT, FEVERCHILD, INSTRUCTOR, SWELL, and NO MAN'S SKY. Don't miss out - this festival promises to experience one unforgettable night at this ultimate celebration of heavy music!
