Ultra Music Festival is an illustrious outdoor electronic music event held annually in March, taking place on Miami's shimmering shores. It was created by Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes in 1999 as a cultural beacon for all things EDM.
Initially, Ultra Music Festival began in Miami Beach. After that, it took up residence in Bicentennial Park and then shifted to Virginia Key for a brief period before settling into its current spot at Bayfront Park, located near downtown Miami. For the first nine years, from 1998 to 2006, the event spanned two days; yet ever since 2011, revelers have celebrated over an exhilarating three-day weekend along with thousands of other attendees each year!
In addition to its annual flagship event in Miami, Ultra Worldwide has produced a wide array of international franchises featuring locations from Croatia and South Africa all the way to Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and beyond.
