Established in 1996, Brutal Assault is an open-air festival of extreme metal held at the 18th-century army fortress Josefov situated in Jaroměř, Czechia.
Initially a grindcore event, Brutal Assault now features some of heavy metal's most renowned musicians and artists from punk rock, experimental rock, and electronic genres that bring intense energy to this one-of-a-kind interactive experience.
