Since 1978, Varde Open Air has been one of Denmark's longest-standing festivals. From a humble beginning as an amateur get-together that only lasted for a day, it now features 18 bands playing at the concert and provides entertainment not just for adults but also children in the form of Thursday concerts and Friday's kid-centered show!
At Varde Open Air, the volunteers who run this incredible event have no ulterior motive beyond their enjoyment of meeting people and creating a wonderful experience. All labor is done by passionate volunteers who enjoy creating such a great occasion.
Varde Open Air boasts two remarkable stages, the classic and picturesque Amphi-scene and the modern "Beech" stage, which can hold a crowd of up to 5,000 people. Furthermore, many attendees are content with simply listening from outside the park; it is anticipated around 10-12 thousand individuals in Arnbjergparken!
