Steelfest is a three-day open-air festival devoted to extreme metal, especially death and black metal. It will be held at the esteemed Hyvinkää Wool Mill and highlight more than enough bands of unadulterated metallic terror. In 2023, this congregation of underground wolves from around the globe will come together for Steelfest XI's eleventh-anniversary celebration.
What began as an exclusive party among seven friends has since become a full-fledged festival open to the public. Steelfest started in 2012, and each year, it grows larger with more attendees and sights to behold. From its humble beginnings as a private event hosted by only seven people, Steelfest is now one of Finland's biggest music festivals, attended by thousands of revelers yearly!
Steelfest has risen as the preeminent extreme metal event. The festival lineup always offers something unique, from brutal acts to even more controversial bands and rare performers! This year's edition will feature great bands in the business, such as Nokturnal Mortum, Marduk, Carpathian Forest, Deströyer 666, Gehenna, Behexen, Urgehal, Nunslaughter, and Nettefrost - to name a few!. This festival is an unmissable occasion for all true metalheads!
