The Naantali Music Festival is renowned for its world-class performances of a wide range of chamber music, featuring the best artists in the industry and acclaimed orchestras. Additionally, it has been recognized internationally for its high artistic standard as well as its charming venues and timing at June's onset to launch Finland's festival season. Every year brings an even more enriched program than before! Commencing on June 6, this year's event will span eleven days of fun and excitement until the 17th!
Since 1980, the Naantali Music Festival has been bringing outstanding chamber music to audiences of nearly half a million. Professor Arto Noras spearheaded this event, which was strongly supported by the City of Naantali. As time passed, 692 chamber musicians graced its stages, with 58 orchestras, 31 choirs, and vocal ensembles providing nearly 3,000 works for attendees' satisfaction!
