Every year, the Printemps de Pérouges captivates music lovers with its annual festival in the charming town of Pérouges. Additionally, this enchanting event occurs in places across Ain, such as the Polo-club of Saint-Vulbas and Chazey's stunning castle.
The 2023 edition marks the 26th year of Festival Printemps de Pérouges, held from June 27 to July 2. The festival has decided to shake things up this time by changing its six-year location at the Polo-club of Saint-Vulbas for a new spot in 2023--the park of the castle of SaintMaurice-de Rémens! This stunning historical site is iconic within the department and region, making it an ideal venue for the Plaine de l'Ain music festival's upcoming event.
Established on March 5, 1992, the association responsible for orchestrating the festival comprises four staff members and a cohort of fifty passionate volunteers. Marie Rigaud, an ardent fan of lyrical singing, has been the Director of this festival since its inception in 1997. She was instrumental in developing and organizing this event from its first edition; her dream to transform Pérouges' church fortress into an arena for classical music concerts became a reality.
The Printemps de Pérouges beckons with its promise of a stunning festival that celebrates voice and unity, appealing to people from all walks of life—young adults, mature individuals, and those in the upper echelon.
