For over 17 years, the annual Bordeaux Rock festival has been a platform for local, French, and international independent music. This rock celebration is hosted in several of the city's most iconic locations, including the Salle des Fêtes du Grand Parc as well as bars and clubs around town! As an integral part of the festival, Bordeaux Rock is dedicated to promoting and supporting local artists from diverse rock genres like shoegaze, indie rock, post-punk, synth wave, and garage. The event's lineup has included world-class acts Shame, Nitzer Ebb, Peter Doherty, and Ride, as well as regional rising stars such as Cosmopaark, TH Da Freak, Queen of the Meadow, and more! Moreover, Bordeaux Rock is also highlighting the grassroots scene on a free admission night in five bars around town where independent bands will showcase their talents.
The Bordeaux Rock Festival returns for a 19th edition from 9 to 12 March 2023! The Barking Spiders, a progressive pop-rock band with a heavily influenced rock psychedelic 60s sound, will join the lineup. Joining them on the bill will be Lemon Rose, Yoko ?
