The Kolorz Festival, established in 2010, is a joint project between the Effervescence agency and Carpentras city officials. Every year an estimated 10,000 people from all across France flock to the event for a day of dancing and fun!
The festival's program has featured some of the most prominent electronic and electro-pop artists from around the world, including Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, Peggy Gou, Paul Kalkbrenner, Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha, Maceo Plex, Charlotte de Witte, Polo & Pan, The Avener, Petit Biscuit, Jacques, Mome, Kavinsky - just to name a few.
Since 2018, Kolorz has teamed up with L'Inguimbertine Library in Carpentras to put on educational activities during the festival. These involve conferences led by artists and industry professionals, master classes, and workshops centered around MAO (Musique Assistée par Ordinateur or Computer-Assisted Music).
