Lou Bonnio's vision of The Giants of Rock is a celebration and memorialization through festivals and concerts featuring legendary national and international tribute bands paying homage to the everlasting impact of rock music. The opening acts featured independent artists with original compositions themed around rock to honor further those impacted by this genre.
The Festival Giants of Rock, launched in 2017, celebrates the French cultural heritage of Rock music through renowned tribute bands and independent artists performing original pieces.
Lou Bonnio, president of "Bonnio and Sons Events," assembled a team that included reliable partners and media outlets, national and international Tribute Bands, talented independent artists, and volunteers to bring this project to fruition whose commitment matched the ambition of this initiative.
Since its outset, OCCITANIA has held several festivals: SUSSARGUES (3 editions), ST HILAIRE DE BRETHMAS (2 editions), MAZAMET, AIGUES-MORTES, GRAU DU ROI, and the highly acclaimed "CHEZ PAULETTE" in Lorraine.
