Musical Riot was established in 2002 and initially managed Tribute performances at a small 300-seat concert hall in Luynes. Over time, it has organized over 160 concerts and attracted 2500 members, becoming an essential part of the local cultural scene. While it has presented various types of music, Musical Riot has developed a specialization in bringing in well-known "Reggae" and "Dub" artists.
In 2010, Musical Riot collaborated with the City of Peyrolles in Provence to host a festival. The Elected Culture, who had attended the concerts many times, supported the event and later became the President of the association. This event at Domaine de Fontblanche in Vitrolles has been named Dub Station Festival since 2013. The festival is a two-day gathering in a scenic park and features participants from both local and international scenes.
The Dub Station Festival, celebrating its tenth edition, announced its lineup of talented musicians. Among them are Mad Professor ft. Earl 16, Wandem Sound System & The Hornsmen Section, Young Warrior, Ashanti Selah, Joe Yorke & Eeyun Purkins, Dub Shepherds, and others. Prepare yourself and join fellow festival attendees to experience the musical euphoria of the Dub Station Festival!
