In 2010, the organizers of a private graduation party for Werner Heisenberg High School in Garching had no idea they would one day be thrust into such a large-scale event. But after their initial celebration at the local fairground was met with great success and enthusiasm from music fanatics, it became apparent that this should be an annual occurrence - thus birthing Schall im Schilf, which is still celebrated today on its larger lake site.
Since 2011, Schall im Schilf has been a highly anticipated annual event organized by Rebay and his fellow curators Gabriel Schneider and Alexander Hofmann. This much-loved music festival is located in the picturesque Lake Garching area each July, offering electronic beats to an ever-growing group of passionate electro fans from Munich and far beyond!
