The Easter Cross is the latest successor to the O.M.I Open Festival, which has been hosted for years by Oberndorf Music Initiative. The same core principles remain in place: For two days festival Easter Cross will showcase a range of diverse music styles from metal and reggae, rock and hip hop to black music. When it comes down to it, all genres have one thing that binds them together: connection through sound!
Since 2014, the Easter Cross festival has had to cut back on its "color" lineup due to a lack of quality and cost-effective artists from various genres. This year's program will more heavily focus on guitar music - which can be seen as an improvement and a detriment for years down the line.
It's time to get ready! The Oberndorfer Musikinitiative is celebrating Easter 2023 by hosting a unique metal, punk, and hardcore festival from April 8th-9th in the city of Oberndorf, only minutes away from both Tübingen and Reutlingen (Germany).
