Rock am Hinkelhof has been bringing joy and entertainment to music fans of all ages and backgrounds for the past two decades. What began as a simple event in the courtyard of their parent's house in 2003 has grown into a registered association since 2014, welcoming hundreds of visitors each year. Johannes and Sebastian Kolb, the ambitious masterminds behind this extraordinary phenomenon, have committed themselves to provide local bands with an opportunity for exposure, aided by an ever-growing team of club members and volunteers alike.
On 21 and 22 July 2023, Rock am Hinkelhof will celebrate its historic twentieth anniversary at Schlüchtern, Germany. Since 2017, it has been held on the Galgenberg, with attendance soaring to over 1300 people in 2019. It is an event that is driven by a collective spirit of youthful optimism and passion, no more or less! This festival has created a unique local culture full of enthusiasm for all those who attend. To add, this event also highlights local bands, so they can be more known to the public and more experienced.
