Established in 1955 by Greece's Prime Minister, Georgios Rallis, the Athens Epidaurus Festival is one of Europe's longest-running and most celebrated cultural organizations. Under the guidance of Dinos Giannopoulos, who was appointed director at the behest of the then-Minister for Culture, this festival was founded to foster artistic expressionism. Since its inception over six decades ago, it has become a central hub for theatrical creativity and innovation.
