Since 2000, the Pelion Music Festival has been the soul of culture in East Pelion, Greece. Set against a breathtaking backdrop nestled within an ancient forest and overlooking the azure waters of the Aegean Sea, this event is organized by Polyrhythmia non-profit organization headed up by pianist Zoe Samsarelou. Over its esteemed existence, it has become renowned domestically and internationally for its spectacular music offerings.

The PelionFestival was initially established in 2000 as Musical Encounters, beginning with a humble start in the sleepy town of Zagora. In 2008 it evolved into the International PelionFestival.
