The Fishing on Orfű festival is a musical celebration that takes place annually in the Panoráma campsite near Lake Pécs, beginning with its inaugural event in 2008. The Kiscsillag single and composition, titled 'Fishing On Orfű,' inspired this fantastic gathering. This festival bears strong ties to two individuals: András Lovasi and Tamás Kálocz. In earlier years, "interest" had been part of its title but was dropped off after just a few occurrences.
From 2008 to 2012, revelers spent three blissful days immersed in the music and entertainment offerings of the festival. Each year featured fifty-two bands playing on four stages, with additional activities like poker, fishing, or swimming across Lake Pécs hosted. A highlight from the 2008 event was László Rátgéber's daring attempt at a Great Lake Jump - masterminded by his trainer András Lovasi - an attraction that drew audiences from all over!
The inaugural year of Zero Day was 2013, which has been held annually for four days ever since - except for 2017, when the festival ran for a full five days in celebration. And this year marks yet another monumental moment for Lovasi as he celebrates his 50th birthday at the event!
