Each Ascension Day, the football fields of VV Graauw near Hulst in Zeeland come alive with the festivities of GraauwRock! This yearly celebration is powered by more than fifty volunteers and supportive sponsors. An incredible collaboration between two local associations, VV Graauw and VV IZV from Kloosterzande, makes this event possible each year.
The esteemed Graauwrock festival has featured renowned acts such as Golden Earring, Normaal, Van Dik Hout, Spark, the Levellers, Jovink en de Voederbietels, Suck on This, Rowwen Hèze, Crazy Horse, The Rocks, The Old Firm, Surrender, De Dijk, Clouseau, The Scene, and many more. This event is suitable for all ages, with an average of 1,850 people in attendance annually!
In addition, GraauwRock festival is the perfect place to explore some of the best upcoming bands. Weeks before the event, emerging bands will be competing for a spot on GraauwRock stage in an intense competition that known as Road to Graauwrock, ensuring that only the most talented acts make it through!
