Since 2015, Midgardsblot has been bringing together extreme metal and folk music in Borre, Norway, at the renowned Midgard Viking Centre.
In addition to incredible performances from both genres of music, festival-goers can take part in guided tours of this ancient burial mound site - one of Northern Europe's largest - battle reenactments, documentary screenings, lectures, and panel discussions with experts on Norse culture.
There is also a Viking village with market stalls and an expansive games arena for axe-throwing or engaging archery competitions!
