Originally named after Norwegian poet Aasmund Olavsson Vinje who created the first cabin at Eidsbugarden and gave the nearby mountains their name of Jotunheimen, Vinjerock is an incredible rock festival set 1060 meters above sea level in southern Norway. For four days straight in July at Eidsbugarden by Bygdin's shoreline, 3,500 freeskiers come together against Jotunheimen's magnificent backdrop to revel in this unique celebration.
