The Vértigo Rock Festival emerged from the passion of multiple local musicians who love culture, particularly in musical form. The inaugural event was held in Ermua in October 2007; however, it has been shifted to May for subsequent editions. Through this festival, organizers seek to foster local music and bridge emerging bands with no support together with renowned groups within the autonomous Basque community as well as across Spain. Thus, these small acts have a platform to perform alongside larger ones on an even playing field.
Vértigo Rock is a series of concerts interspersed with cultural activities, giving people an opportunity to experience and appreciate culture and music. This event embraces all types of musical styles, from the rock, punk, and heavy genres that have been part of the show for years to any other artists who wish to join this event in its fight for what they love!
