On June 16th and 17th of 2023, the spectacular Leimentaler OpenAir will be taking place for its eighteenth year at Oberwil's Bruderholzhof. This family-friendly outdoor event is a cultural mainstay in Northwestern Switzerland that offers an experience unlike any other—no flashy theatrics or overly crowded clubs here, just nature, music, entertainment, and fun. In 2003, the first Leimentaler OpenAir was born. From its inception, this open-air experience has been organized and led by youthful individuals who possess the backing of their local communities. The 500 attendees at that initial gathering instantly created an appetite for more; consequently, what started as a pleasant small affair has grown into something with great historical value over time! The Leimentaler OpenAir 2005 was the beginning of an organizing tradition that has been carried on by LeiKuS ever since.

With strong ties to its roots, it has been possible for Leimentaler OpenAir to expand the event in Leimental. This hip and sustainable festival, surrounded by a stunning landscape, is backed by all of its local communities—an element of which the people behind this event are immensely proud! This musical bash attracts thousands of people—many from outside the community—and with renowned Swiss musicians gracing the stage, it's no surprise why this open-air experience continues to be so popular.
