The Chester Folk Festival is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in England, committed to the education and appreciation of British and Multicultural folk art. This includes traditional and contemporary music, dance, crafts, spoken word poetry & storytelling throughout Chester London and its surroundings via an annual festival as well as participatory workshops, activities, and other occasions held year-round.
Every year, the Chester Folk Festival comes alive in Kelsall, just 8 miles from Chester. Both local and national folk artists gather to honor all aspects of their beloved genre in a multi-generational setting. If you plan to camp the entire weekend or just come for a day, the festival is held at Kelsall Green - an expansive area located behind Morris Dancer pub in Kelsall.
