Launching in 2023, the first edition of The Funkbox Project will take place at Northshire, a unique and enchanting venue located on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire Moors, within a 30-minute distance to Teesside, Whitby, and other nearby areas in the North East of England. The Funkbox Project will be hosting a party at a new and iconic venue with two arenas.
The first arena is called The Enchanted Barn, a prominent and lavish barn transformed into a magical space with a stylish décor suitable for an exciting dance party. Additionally, the barn is equipped with a complete Funktion One Soundsystem, incredible lighting, and visuals that will leave you amazed.
The Stone Henge is the second arena set up away from the main arena. It has its unique stone circle and comes fully equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting, and visuals. It is the perfect arena for diversity.
To ensure that Northshire's exceptional and distinctive venue is highlighted, the festival needs performers whose style and attitude are in line with the event's overall vibe. The Funkbox DJs, known for their dynamic, genre-blending, and lively party atmosphere, will serve as the event's hosts. Their popularity has soared in recent years.
Every event requires a headlining act, and the festival is fortunate to have three stars from the house and techno scene: Devstar, Lee Pennington, and Lee Walker. The festival has also selected some of the best local talents to support these artists and provide a magical auditory experience for the audience.
