Get ready to experience the North's most electrifying celebration under the midnight sun! Folk On The Rocks, or FOTR, is one of Canada's premier summertime music and cultural festivals, hosting performers from all over the country - including Nunavut, NWT, and beyond.
Since its inception in 1980 by founder Rod Russell and his passionate group of musicians, Folk On The Rocks Annual Music Festival has advanced significantly. Starting as a small outdoor show on the shores of Frame Lake, it is now proudly held at Long Lake each summer!
An action-packed and jam-packed 35 hours of entertainment await you across six different stages, including a children's area for the little ones and a beer garden. Nourish your taste buds with international delicacies at the food fair or feast upon traditional treats while enjoying live music acts. Don't forget to browse through various non-profit organizations and activities on display before purchasing locally-made creative works in the artisan tent!
From July 14th-16th, people of all ages will join together for one unforgettable weekend at Long Lake. Spend the three days surrounded by stunning scenery and incredible music with over 3,000 other visitors who are eagerly anticipating this annual event.
