Every third weekend in May, the beachfront of the city comes alive with music and festivity as two stages - Hangout and Surf on either end of the beach - host a thrilling festival. The Boom Boom Tent is also there to keep you entertained throughout! This annual celebration is the first major musical event held at this beloved coastal spot.
Hangout Festival has seen an impressive array of musical acts take the stage over its lifetime, with headliners such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon gracing patrons with their presence. Other names include Foo Fighters, OutKast, Mumford & Sons, and The Weeknd - plus many more! Recent chart-topping talents like Jack White, Dave Matthews Band, and Twenty One Pilots have made appearances too, not to mention Kings of Leon alongside contemporary stars including The Chainsmokers, Halsey Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Khalid, and Cardi B.
