After three years away, the spectacular Winter Werk Out is coming back to The Bluestone in Columbus, Ohio, on February 17th and 18th of 2023. Making their return as hosts are none other than The Werks, who will be performing not just one night but two! Joining them onstage are Opiuo, Daily Bread, Marvel Years, and many more gifted artists whose talents you won't want to miss.
To top off the 2023 Winter Werk Out event, Defunk, BareFuzz (hailing from Columbus), and Dizgo will be gracing the stage with their presence. The festivities will take place over two nights at Bluestone - a magnificent 19th-century Baptist church turned into one of Ohio's most renowned indoor venues.
As February approaches, the anticipation for this year's Winter Werk Out is palpable. This festival will be the fifth edition of this celebration and its first since 2020, making it a particularly joyous occasion. After taking an intentional six-month break in 2019 to recalibrate their sound, Dayton, Ohio's quartet is more ready than ever to make some noise at their upcoming performances! Adding even more excitement to this year's festival is that original bassist Chuckie Love has rejoined them after his decade-long hiatus, marking 2021 as a momentous one for these talented musicians!
Amidst a flurry of activity this year, The Werks have been making waves with their revival event Werk Out West at Denver's Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom. This two-night soiree featured Gangstagrass, Eggy, Dizgo, and more - in addition to an incredible super jam from SunSquabi and Break Science. Their reach will continue; the band is expanding its horizons by heading to Detroit for the inaugural Motor City Werk Out next March alongside ekoostik hookah and Hyryder!
