The iconic Gorge Blues & Brews Festival (known initially as Brews Blues & BBQs) is an annual festival that debuted in June 1993, hosted at the beautiful Skamania Lodge front lawn in Stevenson, Washington. Washington. It was a modest beer festival that featured around six to seven breweries, an accordion player from The Rheinlander, and some delicious bratwurst.
After its initial success, the festival was shifted to Teo Park on Stevenson's waterfront the following year, where it stayed until 2009. Due to the growing popularity of this event every single season, a need for larger space became necessary, thus, resulting in its relocation to Skamania County Fairgrounds in 2010.
In 2011, the festival was rebranded with a new name, Gorge Blues & Brews Festival, and continues to be held at the Fairgrounds, boasting plenty of parking space plus camping options on-site. Enjoying the scenic beauty of this natural setting while indulging in a bevy of Pacific Northwest craft beers to sample, regional music favorites to enjoy, and endless delicious food options – this is what you get when attending this event!
