Macedon Ranges Music Festival kicked off in 2013 in an idyllic backyard in Gisborne, Victoria, as a jam session among nearby companions. Locals would come and listen to music while putting money into a jar for the Cambodian Kids Foundation (CKF). The homemade platform was constantly alive with melodies throughout the day and night while children ran around on sugar rushes of boundless joy.
Above all else, Macedon Ranges Music Festival is devoted to providing financial aid and support for the Cambodian Kids Foundation. This incredible organization works diligently to help those living in a small rural community by constructing schools that provide education, health services, employment opportunities, and general assistance. The overall mission of CKF is clear; they strive to lift people out of poverty through their selfless contributions. Not one cent of the festival's profits has ever been kept - 100% goes directly into improving lives within this community!
The Macedon Ranges Music Festival is a volunteer-led event celebrating music, community, and the joy it brings. This festival has always been a place to connect with friends and family while enjoying live entertainment, dancing, singing, and, most importantly, giving back to worthy causes. It believes in the power of music!
