For 25 years, the Hamilton Arts Festival Toi Ora ki Kirikiriroa (formerly known as Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival) has been Waikato's go-to event for creativity and art. The outdoor celebration presents an impressive array of regional creative minds and a handpicked selection of national and international acts.
Featuring the renowned Hamilton Gardens as its primary host, the festival provides an opportunity to observe and appreciate performances from Waikato's finest performers in addition to a carefully-selected assortment of captivating acts from domestic and global locations.
Over the past three years, this festival has developed into a nationally acclaimed event of massive importance to artists, art organizations, and commercial companies. Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2023, Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival will take place from February 23 to March 5. As this significant regional event continues to grow, the festival has extended beyond the majestic Hamilton Gardens and along the Waikato River's banks into downtown.
