Since 2002, João Rock has been a premier Brazilian music event in the heart of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. It is renowned for its diverse genres, including rock, alternative rock, pop, and heavy metal, that cater to all audiences.
The festival's name is one of the country's most esteemed cultural events, taking place yearly. At its latest edition, popular acts such as Charlie Brown Jr., Criolo, Pitty, Humberto Gessinger, and more attended. Raimundos and Gabriel o Pensador were among the other renowned stars that graced this event with their presence.
The João Rock festival on June 13, 2015, drew in a staggering 45,000 visitors from 128 cities across São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná Mato Grosso do Sul, and Santa Catarina to the Permanent Exhibition Park. In the 2016 event edition, more people participated - 50 thousand! This popular music celebration is steadily growing in popularity year after year.
