2023 marks the 40th anniversary of Gurtenfestival, and why not celebrate in a big way? Bern's local mountain will be alive with music for an entire week from 12 to 16 July to mark this special milestone. The complete package of partying and fun! Don't miss out on what promises to be an unforgettable experience; come as you commemorate 40 editions of one of Switzerland's greatest festivals.On Sunday, the primary focus will be on performances on the main stage. However, three acts each will also present their artistry in both the tent and Waldbühne areas! Additionally, all three dance tents are open to provide an exciting evening of music and entertainment.

Established in 1986, Open Air Gampel began as a small local event featuring Swiss bands with only 500 attendees. Astonishingly, the following year it was attended by 4K music lovers! In no time, this open-air festival had become one of Switzerland's most celebrated events with an impressive capacity of more than 20k.
