<p>On March 18th, Liquicity Prague 2023 is back with a captivating musical experience into the world of drum & bass. Join the fun for a night of unforgettable beats as you dance through one magical journey after another.</p><p>Since 2011, Liquicity has been a Dutch powerhouse in the liquid drum and bass scene. Founded by Maris Goudzwaard and Mark van der Schoot (better known as Maduk), they have become revered for their record label, YouTube channel, and event promotion services.</p><p>In 2008, Maris Goudzwaard started Liquicity – a YouTube channel dedicated to curating an entirely new Drum & Bass subculture. By giving shape to music that previously had no label whatsoever, he quickly gathered fans from all over the world which became known as "Liquicitizens," and forged a close-knit group of like-minded artists in the same genre.</p><p>After hearing Maduk's debut single "Avalon" in the summer of 2011, Goudzwaard took a chance and contacted him to promote it on Liquicity. The gamble truly paid off as their partnership eventually evolved into their record label-Liquicity Records! A few months later, they officially launched and have seen tremendous success.</p><p>Established by Maduk in 2012, the label founder creates year mixes with the most popular songs each year.</p><p>In January 2013, the duo decided to take their passion for music promotion, record labels, and events further by establishing a new company called Liquicity. With time and effort put into this venture, what started as merely an enjoyable pastime swiftly grew into something much bigger: it had become their full-time job.</p><p>March 2013 marked the debut of Liquicity's initial small-scale event in the Ruigoord area near Amsterdam, which drew a crowd of liquid fans from various European countries. It was a sold-out show and proved to be an incredible success. To meet up with its growing fan base, Liquidity extended its reach to Amsterdam and Antwerp, followed by London on January 2015.</p><p>The inaugural Liquicity Festival, which took place in Diemen forest near Amsterdam on July 26th, 2015, quickly became a success and gained worldwide attention. In 2016 alone, YouTube viewers watched its footage an astonishing 185 million times! After this initial triumph came, multiple winter festivals took place across cities, including Amsterdam, London, and Cologne, as well as events in Bratislava & Prague - all culminating with 2017's first-ever weekend-long event hosted at Noord-Scharwoude. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, disruptions in the 2020 and 2021 editions could only occur in 2022.</p>
