For more than a decade, KLANGVOKAL Musikfestival Dortmund has been showcasing a beautiful diversity of vocal music from across the globe. From opera and classical to jazz and world music - it brings together every form of vocal expression in one remarkable event. Furthermore, this festival encourages artistic dialogue between diverse genres and social discourse on topical matters through intercultural projects.In 2010, Dortmund - Germany's cultural capital of the Ruhr area - introduced The Festival as a goodwill gesture.
