The Oerrock Festival is an annual event held in Ureterp, Friesland at the Skieppeleane. It draws thousands of rock music lovers annually with its incredible lineup of major artists and tribute bands. Since the early 1970s, Nirwana Tuinfeest has been a much-anticipated yearly music festival in Lierop - a small village in North Brabant. The local youth center Nirwana initiated the garden party and launched as a funfair with some traditional tunes playing in the background.Over the years, the focus of this event changed from folk to pop and rock music. Numerous national and regional artists have performed here, including Krezip, Rowwen Hèze, and the Urban Dance Squad - with an estimated 15K guests in attendance during 2019. With its wide selection of genres and ever-growing popularity amongst festival goers, it's clear that this is one event you do not want to miss!On the third weekend of August, a three-day celebration known as Nirwana Tuinfeest officially kicks off the youth center's fun activities. This exciting festival is organized by youth group members, including many former and current village residents who volunteer their time.Nirwana Tuinfeest will be back this year following a special edition in 2022! All the fun and festivities will occur on August 18, 19, and 20 at its picturesque garden.
