Every year, the Sjællandsfestivalen opens its doors exclusively for people with physical and mental disabilities from Slagelse, Ringsted, Sorø, Odsherred Holbæk, and Kalundborg! This inclusive event is designed to create an atmosphere of joy and entertainment where everyone can have fun.On May 24th and 25th of 2023, the Sjællandsfestivalen will be held at Rosenkildevej in Slagelse. Embark on a thrilling two-day adventure beneath the vast open sky while surrounded by the joyous atmosphere of this closed festival.All proceeds earned from the festival go to the Soul Prize. This esteemed award is given to individuals or organizations that have made a noteworthy contribution to culture, arts, and sports for people with disabilities.

Sjællandsfestivalen

Established in 1971 by two industrious high school students and a promoter, the Roskilde Festival is one of Europe's premier music events - and the largest gathering in the Nordic countries. Set scenically south of Roskilde, Denmark, this annual celebration has become a household name for countless fans around the globe seeking fun and entertainment!In 1972, the inspiring Roskilde Foundation acquired the festival with a mission to utilize it as an effective platform for the development and growth of music, culture, and humanism. From its start, festival-goers have been given the opportunity to nominate charities that can benefit from funds raised during this altruistic event. The foundation has since then run the entire festivity in a non-profit manner.Roskilde Festival is Denmark's premier music event, initially designed for hippies but now welcomed by youths from all over Europe. Hansted Live is a music festival held in the vibrant city of Svendborg. This event has something for all family members! During daylight hours, it's perfect for children and youth to explore safely with its secure fence barriers surrounding the square from roads and gardens nearby.Children can jump, box, and indulge in snacks throughout the day in Krøyer's Garden. Hansted Live's space is the perfect size so that young ones can explore on their own while parents enjoy some much-deserved R&R on the blankets provided. A bouncy castle, a punching bag station, and ice cream are just a few of the exciting activities available to your little one!Hansted Live 2023 is taking place from July 27–29, and although children and young people are welcome in the evening, it's highly recommended that parents provide extra supervision compared to what would be necessary during the day.
