The 37th April Jazz Festival is here to shine a spotlight on talented jazz stars from all over the world and give an opportunity for fresh Finnish jazz music to be discovered. The event will take place at various venues such as Espoo Cultural Centre, Sello Hall in Leppävaara, EMMA Espoo Museum of Modern Art in Espoo, and G Livelab and Korjaamo in Helsinki - offering audiences a diverse selection of premieres and album release concerts!Every year, April Jazz tantalizes the senses with a captivating roster of virtuosic performers and awe-striking music. Since 1987, Espoo Big Band ry has been proud to present this enthralling festival in Espoo, Finland, at the end of April. Billy Cobham Band, Lizz Wright, Mnozil Brass – Gold, Sara Correia, Yumi Ito. For more than thirty years, Tallinn International Festival Jazzkaar has acted as a calling card of Estonian culture and the premier jazz festival of the Baltic region. Year after year, it continues to deliver an exciting mix of original programming and innovative solutions with limited resources - making it one of Estonia's most popular events, with over 3,000 international artists from 60 countries in attendance since its initiation in 1990.Journalists from all over the world have documented the most memorable moments of this celebrated festival. At the same time, Klassikaraadio and EBU broadcasts enabled millions of European jazz enthusiasts to be part of it. The Spring 2015 Jazzkaar Festival saw an impressive attendance record with over 21,000 visitors - a landmark achievement!The esteemed Estonian music industry has selected Jazzkaar 2015 as their premier music festival, and it's not difficult to see why. With its recognition among Europe's top festivals, plus being awarded the prestigious EFFE stamp of quality for 2015-2016, this event is an absolute must-see.
