5X Festival

Initially established to celebrate South Asian life in Vancouver, the 5X festival has evolved into a yearly occasion that celebrates the culture of young South Asians. This year's fest will take place from June 11th to 18th, 2023!

5X's mission is to develop a world filled with belongingness and success. The event, which spans multiple days and spaces, showcases artistry in music, fashion, visuals, and culture. 5X further builds an online community through media platforms like social networking sites and its content production studio- 5X Press!

The Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society (VIBC) is a charitable organization based in Vancouver that has been around since 2004. VIBC, working to foster the growth of South Asian artist expression, is {VIBC's main event consists of 5X - a critical festival and digital community.

5X Fest is passionate about lifting and empowering women, differently-abled individuals, and LGBTQ2S+ members. It takes this passion to heart in the efforts towards achieving gender parity: from the staff, it hires to the events that it books, the festival makes each decision with fair consideration. Moreover, it commits to ensuring all communications reflect these values too!
