Å-festival

Å-Festival, located in Sonder Fielding, is a three-day festival filled with music from top Christian artists, thought-provoking speakers, and an environment of acceptance for all ages! This event has distinguished itself as Denmark's most prominent Christian gathering annually, drawing over 3,000 attendees to experience the joyous atmosphere this festival provides.

The initial Å-Festival-organizing meeting occurred in 1990, and the first actual event was held the following year. To begin with, it had about 500-600 individuals attending and featured mostly Danish bands and choirs. Among these musical performances were a few edgier bands that added an extra flair to the atmosphere. Due to its rarity, it didn't take long for this festival to start inviting acts from America, as there were no other Christian music festivals in Denmark around then.

Despite the festival's impressive size and numerous offerings, admission is free for all participants! The festival's particular size, with its multitude of events and offerings, is made possible due to the contributions of volunteers. They go above and beyond in planning, constructing tents, and more every year. Their hard work makes this an event you'll never forget!
