Each year, AnJazz or Hamar Jazz Festival brings the best in jazz music to Norway. Since 2005, this renowned festival has distinguished itself with its high-quality performances from both national and international artists. With a wide variety of musical styles on offer every year, it is no wonder that AnJazz remains the country’s largest annual jazz event.

As the heartbeat of the AnJazz Festival, Hamar Theater provides three cozy concert halls located in Victoria Quarter’s old town hall. During this eventful time, the theater not only serves as its secretariat and contact point but also houses its main operational unit. With such a tight partnership with festival producer Anja Katrine Tomter, it is no wonder that AnJazz has become one of Norway’s most prominent jazz festivals!
