Who could have predicted that the little coffee house, created by a campus ministry 50 years ago, would turn into one of the most renowned folks, ethnic, and alternative music clubs in the world? The founders probably never imagined it'd become what the grand festival people now know as the Ann Abrnor Folk Festival - the reality of its success has gone beyond their wildest dreams.

After the extraordinary triumph of the last edition, The Ark and Bank of Ann Arbor are thrilled to bring back the 47th iteration of the beloved and long-running Ann Arbor Folk Festival. Established in 1976 as a small annual gathering, this remarkable event has since expanded into an incredible celebration that brings together people from all walks of life.

Preparations are underway for two memorable folk music nights, with various genres and styles to explore. When all the performers come together in song at the end of Saturday's show, you will feel a strong sense of tradition in your bones.
