Ascension Festival

Oration and Studio Emissary proudly present Ascension MMXXIII, a 4-day extravaganza of music and revelry. Crafting an eclectic experience with a heavy focus on Icelandic and international Black metal, the celebrations will be held at Reiðhöllin í Víðidal, Reykjavík, from May 18th to 21st, 2023. No better venue to create the ideal environment for igniting our midsummer celebration!

Nestled just outside Reykjavík, Àrbaer is only a 15-minute drive from the city center and 35 minutes via public transport. Surrounded by mountains and Iceland's iconic desolate landscapes, it provides an idyllic natural setting with easy access to all comforts needed.
