Bachfest Eutin & Plön

The Neue Bachgesellschaft e.V.'s 97th annual Bachfest in 2023 will take place from September 21 to October 1, in both Eutin and Plön, all under the theme of "Bach commutes..."! During the event, Eutin Castle will serve as the festival's office. This festival promises to be a remarkable experience for all who attend!

Bachfest Eutin & Plön's program provides a unique opportunity to explore the harmony of contrasting worlds – secular and spiritual, courtly and religious, instrumental and vocal- through performances by renowned artists and young talents from the region. This special occasion allows you to experience local artistry and international excellence in one place.

Cantor Antje Wissemann and KMD Henrich Schwerk, both of Eutin and Plöner, respectively, are the masterminds behind the arrangement and coordination of the Bach Festival.
