In 2011, the Baltic Open Air festival started in Schleswig-Holstein's north region. With its Viking theme, this rock music event was held at Auf der Freiheit until 2016, when it had to relocate due to lack of space and move closer to Schleswig city. This multiple-day extravaganza has been a hit since then, with over 10,000 people attending!
