Benátská Noc first opened its doors in 1993, nestled snugly within the Malá Skála valley. Kamil Střihavka and Katapult even shared one small sofa set as their dressing room! The stage was built from scaffolding pipes while sound equipment was hung via rope to nearby street lamps, utilizing whatever resources were available for an unforgettable night.
Year after year, the lineup of performers continued to expand. An abundance of Czech talent was enhanced by captivating international guest acts. Benátská Noc began flourishing, and soon a new row of esteemed local and foreign artists was added to their roster, necessitating the organizers' decision to further develop the festival in order to raise its standard even higher.
Make sure to mark your calendar for July 27–30, 2023, as the Benátská Noc will be back in full force! The organizer proudly announces that more than 50 bands will take turns performing across three stages. Get ready for an extraordinary event with a variety of music acts not just from the Czech Republic but around the world!
