The Caverns proudly presents the debut Big Mouth Bluegrass Festival on July 4th weekend! This festival will occur at Payne's Cove from July 1st to 2nd, 2023. It will feature an awe-inspiring array of award-winning bluegrass artists that will leave you breathless - don't miss out on this incredible event at Big Mouth Bluegrass Festival!

In addition to all the dynamic picking on stage, the 2-day camping festival also offers open cave jam sessions for guests. There is also delicious All-American cookout cuisine from multiple food trucks, a particular Sunday gospel brunch set, guided tours into The Cavern's intriguing cave system, extravagant fireworks when night falls, and campground pickin'. Big Mouth Bluegrass Festival 2023 will feature Dan Tyminski Band, Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Lonesome River Band, Appalachian Road Show, and Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, among many other noteworthy performers.
