Established in 1999 by seven friends hoping to celebrate musical bashes differently, Bloco do Urso was born and raised in the city of Santa Rita do Sapucaí in Minas Gerais. Ricardo de Martha, its commercial director, said, "It all started here; it wasn't even a choice because our family had deep roots within São Paulo." From this small beginning came impressive growth that continues today, with each passing year being more successful than the last.
