Boardmasters

Boardmasters is a British music and surf festival founded in 1981, held on the beautiful Cornish coast at Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay in Newquay. Usually spanning five days on the second weekend of August, it brings together over 50,000 people, all joined through a shared love of music, surfing, well-being, and the outdoors.

Enjoy an unforgettable five days of music, culture, and the ocean breeze on two magnificent sites in Newquay. Boardmasters features over 200 emerging and renowned artists performing across 12 stages at Watergate Bay, offering a diverse mix of sounds ranging from indie to pop, grime to house, drum, and bass to rock!

During the festival, attendees can enjoy many activities beyond listening to music. For example, they have access to Cornish language sessions, comedy shows, and Zennor Haven for relaxation. But that's not all - Boardmasters' dedicated well-being area offers daily yoga classes, workshops on eco-friendly practices, and reiki healing experiences in addition to an eco spa!

At Fistral Beach, international surfers display their talents in the World Surf Leagues Boardmasters Opens and Longboard Pro competitions, while the specially-crafted beach bar of Boardmasters rocks with partying guests each day.
