Borna Open Air

Borna Open Air is an incredibly thrilling rock event each year during the last weekend of June at Volksplats in Borna. This unique festival has grown strong following due to its amazing concerts and small but mighty atmosphere. Each year, thousands of rock lovers flock to this unique site south of Leipzig for an unforgettable experience full of banging music!

It all began in 2005 with Rock Against Violence, an event that has been a yearly hit and sparked the idea to turn it into a two-day long festival. That's when Borna Open Air grew in popularity until 2019, when a different stage became part of its program lineup. From local talent to nationally renowned bands, this festival will spoil anyone attending with an exciting mix of familiar faces and newcomers.

The next edition of Borna Open Air is right around the corner - from June 30th to July 1st in 2023! This two-day exciting festival will provide something for all fans of German rock music that come to this event. There will be loads of energetic bands prepared to make you groove all night!
