Brienzersee Rockfestival

Like the mythical phoenix, something solid and powerful emerged from nothing. It all began with a gang of brave lads led by Michel Rudolf (aka "Chibi"), some of whom were musicians, striving to create an event in Brienz during the 1980s. Despite difficulties along their journey, these determined individuals eventually accomplished their goal; thus, in 1988 came about the inaugural edition of the Brienzersee Rockfestival!

For passionate rockers, the Brienzersee Rockfestival should not be missed! This exciting three-day event usually takes place at the beginning of August near beautiful Lake Brienz. The festival's organizers are delighted to present an incredible lineup yearly, with hot rock and calm lake breezes creating a phenomenal atmosphere.
